The Licensing module in ComplyNest gives you a structured place to record your license details, monitor renewal timelines, complete required compliance tasks, and store all related documents. Think of it as a digital licensing binder that never gets lost.

How License Records Work

Each center has one active license record containing the license number, type, issue date, expiration date, and the name of the issuing agency. You can update these details at any time as renewals are processed.

State Templates and Required Tasks

When you set up a center and choose your state and program type, ComplyNest loads a compliance task template tailored to common requirements for that license category. These tasks appear in your Licensing checklist with suggested due dates. You can add custom tasks on top of the template.

Tracking Progress

Each task can be marked complete with notes and evidence attachments. Completed tasks are recorded in the activity log with a timestamp and the user who completed them. Overdue tasks appear in red on your dashboard and lower your Inspection Readiness Score.

ComplyNest's state templates are meant to give you a helpful starting point, not a guaranteed complete list. Requirements vary by county, agency, and program type. Always verify current requirements with your licensing office.
